Me and my three friends (Michelle, Kevin, and Jeff) celebrating after the guys golf tournament win. It was a big deal and we had a blast doing the wave for them at this awards dinner.

I found this picture on my phone. I took it on the trip to Hollywood with Kevin Friesen and the kids back in April. We were across the way eating dinner and little did I know that an hour later I would be asked to be on the show.

Here is what I wrote about it on myspace right after it all happened:

It's true! Oh my 3 day vacation to Hollywood, I stayed at the Renassiance Hotel with my cousins. We went to go and see Wicked on Thursday night (which was breathtaking, by the way). We arrived on Wednesday and realized that we were smack in the center of Hollywood. The Kodak Theather and Graumans Chinese Theater were part of our complex, which was the hotel and outdoor mall. In any event, we went and bought tickets to "Meet the Robinson's" in 3-D which was right next to Jimmy Kimmel Live. We passed by the people in line a couple times on our adventures up and down Hollywood Blvd. When we finally were on our way to the movie, we passed by a game show set up in front of the studio and I exclaimed, "it's looks like they are going to do a game show tonight!" There was a lady behind the set on a cell phone who I thought was not listening. We kept walking until she followed us and yelled out for us to wait, because I expressed interest in being in the show. I said, "Interest? Are you kidding? I would love to!" My cousin went to go and get tickets to a later movie and then get the camera and I stood outside shaking like a leaf. "Live" is not my forte, as I felt like my jaw was full of rocks. My five minutes of fame!

The hills are alive!

Me and a coworker sang a "Sound of Music" Review at work for a luncheon. We hardly practiced and when I wanted to back out the day before, she said, "let's just have fun with it and dress up!" So, dress up we did, and it was a blast. Even the sing came out ok. I came skipping in to everyones laughter and she solemnly walked to the microphone. Haven't laughed that hard in ages!
